TWQ: Pet Peeves

We must have had something like this before, but it's good. TWQ (the Weekend Question) is asking what minor irritations really annoy you.
What little things get you really mad? List as many as you wish.

My answers are:

Cars that drive right past expecting to be let in when there is a road merge ahead.

Those that are using the  cellphone right up until the point when a movie starts at the cinema.

When sports commentators come up to an athlete who is obviously too exhausted to speak and ask how they feel etc.

Mid-seasonal breaks that a tv series seems to have nowadays.

Those that go for a long walk during a coach vacation stop, and keep the rest of the party waiting for them, then say "Were you waiting for us?"

The Great Britain squad in the Olympics now named 'Team GB'.

Now it's over to you...

Television announcers who say: "Stay with us. We'll be back with more after this commercial break". After the break, the announcer immediately signs off.

People who walk around talking on their cell phones in public places where everyone can hear their loud conversations.

Morning television broadcasts featuring stuffed suits as hosts.

Bad drivers who have no manners.

I'd be tempted to say politicians..because all of them annoy but Sarah Palin is a pet peeve of mine.

Blatant stupidity is another.

Parents who can't control their kids.

Drivers who do everything else other than concentrating on driving.

My MP who writes to me as if I were her friend because it's election time.

The UK's Jeremy Clarkson - for just being Jeremy Clarkson

And so much more.......
