TWQ: More Pet Peeves

A while ago, TWQ (the Weekend Question) asked about things that annoy you. As there seemed to be a long list that people had, here's a chance to think of even more.

What are your pet peeves, that really make you mad? List as many as you wish.
My answers are:

* Hype...claims like "the whole country is watching, everybody is talking about." I'm hardly ever in the list, and don't go around talking about.

* Roadsigns that say 'route improvement', when in truth for months ahead the entire road system is up, and we are in endless traffic queues!

* Office reorganisations that say "will make us a leader over our competitors in the markets" when what it actually is is a return to the structure that we had a couple of reorganisations earlier.

Now it's over to you...

My biggest pet peeve is posting my pet peeves online. After all, the whole world is watching.

I'm with Bee on the political ads. They seem to go on and on forever and they're all so negative. There should be laws against them!

Crowds of people. I just don't do crowds well but it seems like no matter where you go anymore, there are hordes of folks.

Rude people. When did people stop being nice to each other??

Fluctuating gas prices. Make up your minds already!!

Shoddy service by waitstaff who still expect to get a tip. Seriously??

Oh, and finally, people who call 911 and curse at me to just send them the $%*& ambulance and stop asking them so many #$&* questions. Don't they realize that they can help the patient until the ambulance gets there???

1 The difference between the program you're watching on TV and the commercials. Do advertisers think everyone is deaf?
2. Waiting for the wait person to bring the bill. When you're done and are ready to go they dissappear.
3. Wait staff that constantly interrupt your conversation asking if everything is okay.
4. Trying to order something at a drive up speaker and the idiot on the other end keeps trying to get you to order other stuff and won't let you tell them what you want.

My biggest pet peeve is people telling me I need to have another child because I don't have a daughter yet.

Its such a big pet peeve I can't even think of any others :)

Wow! you have got some peeves! Political ads are a headache in any country.

Linda, your peeve about 911 calls is interesting. I would have thought callers knew better.

PM Prescott, loud ads have being going on for years. The tv companies deny them, although it is done to catch the viewers attention.
