TWQ: Can't Live Without...

This week, TWQ (The Weekend Question) asks about those items that are essential to you...

What items do you consider invaluable to yourself? List as many as you like.

My answers are:

1: My La-Z-Boy recliner: Without this red leather recliner to lie back in at night, I would be very uncomfortable.

2: My passport: As I love to travel, I wouldn't like to be confined in just one country.

3: Lasagna: I love this dish, especially when done in an authentic Italian restaurant.

4: My blogfriends: An invaluable asset since starting my Journal.

Now it's over to you...

Hmmm...lets see.

My passport, because I love to travel. My camera as I love taking pics - it's part of who I am. My cat. My partner.

Michele sent me to say hi.

My family: children and grandchildren

The computer and all the bloggy friends I have made!

- My CD collection.
- My CD player.
- My laptop: which is a love-hate relationship, cause it's always ignoring my commands!
- My books.
- My friends.
- My family: my godson in particular.

I can do without most on my list, but not the last two items.
Oh, and the new bloggers I meet.

I've been lurking around enough so it's about time I say hello from Norway.
Your blog is very readable and I do agree with you in this post. Passport is essential but good to know you don't need traveling around in blogsphere:-=

1. My writing desk. I need a desk to write at, and had to live without one for two months. I neeeed it. It holds my puter and my fancy shcmancy ergomatic keyboard.
1a. soft cushion to put on computer chair for comfort.

2. My coffee pot that keeps coffee warm for hours, HOURS... so I don't need to remake coffee at my 3 p.m. coffee-need time.

3. My comfy green slip covered, sink-into-the-depths green couch and afghan.

4. My down comforter and high-thread count sheets. If you ever thought thread count doesn't matter, you never owned 500 thread sheets. (so worth the money)

5. My family DUH.

As of right this moment, I guess the only thing I can really think of is my laptop though I'm sure that there are many, many more things.

Oh no, wait - the most important thing of all is my friends, I most definitely could not get by without them! And that includes on-line and real-life ones!!

My six grandchildren.

My computer.

Digital cable music channels.

Work.

Blogging, and meeting so many people from around the world.

Bubble baths, which restore my aching limbs and enrich my soul.

1) Coffee
2) Highspeed internet connection (I'm sad)
3) my friends/family/husband - he should be first though, don't you think in that list?
4) Access to a library or my books. I'd die without!

1. My family.
2. My computer -- with high speed internet, of course.
3. Alcohol of any variety
4. Coffee.
5. Sleep -- as much as I can get. It's a rare thing right now.
6. Good friends. :D

My laptop. I haven't had it six months but I'm completely spoiled. I've just discovered my school's wireless network.

My car. You really can't get anywhere in this area without a car.

Showers. I can't sleep without one and they're one of the best destressers.

3) Birdseed
4) My car (I just noticed that on Nettie's answer)
5) My pillow

My list comes from the things I took with me when we had a tornado warning and had to run to our shelters. I called these my basic necessities of life:

1 - Bible
2 - Notebook and pen
3 - Camera
4 - A bottle of Pepsi

The notebook had a cat on it. My absolute favorite animal, one I would hate to live without. As I don't own one at present, the general idea is kept alive through the cat's presence on my notebook. :)

My handphone and PC with broadband connection. Gotten accustomed to these.

And my big bottle of water that I bring to work everyday. (Scared of kidney stones). Hehe.

Excellent answers, many of which I would have added to my list, had I thought of them.

Normally it would be 1. family, 2. books, 3. computer, 4. camera, 5. fly rod... but occassionally I can chuck it all and only need my backpack (add sleeping bag and food) and either boots or my canoe! Here from Michele's.
