As it's Halloween, next week, the time of wearing a costume is here if you are going to a party. TWQ (The Weekend Question) looks at what to wear.
What will you be wearing for Halloween this year? If you are not wearing a costume, what would your ideal choice be?
My answer is:
I think I'd like a glittering Elvis Las Vegas-style outfit if I could pick any one. It sounds though it might be rather heavy and warm, though.
Now it's over to you...

Oh my, I'm first!
My preference is for being tucked up in bed so effectively wearing a duvet! I guess if I had to wear anything, it would be a showgirl costume. As I am now too old to look entirely attractive in such an outfit, I'd better not, I think!
I have a great Star Trek uniform I'd love to fit into again. It's a first season ST:TNG jumpsuit - very form-fitting. I love it.
If I had to come up with something I could actually fit into right now, I think I'd be the Bionic Woman - that sounds easy, just dress normally and then tell people I'm the Bionic Woman.
I am also thinking of a Star Trek theme for my costume. I'm going to dress up as the U.S.S. Enterprise (1701-E).
We get to dress up for work so I am debating between Goth/Punk/Emo which is all pretty much the same! Most of the costume I can piece together from Amanda's collection of stuff and just throw on lots of black eyeliner, etc.
We don't *do* halloween here, but if I could dress up as anything I would want to go back in time.
Twelve years ago in panto, I wore the most amazing silver and gold outfits as the Princess. I would love to wear those again and be a Princess.
Thank you for your wishes

I wore my Sally (From Nightmare Before Christmas) last weekend and I'll be a pirate for the holiday
I'd love a gorgeous Renaissance costume next year.
Well, Elvis would be cool---- I can only imagine you in one
well I look like a devil so ... you figure it out JP lol
When my son was having his 1st bday I wanted there to be a clown so I had a special cutsie clown jumper made
after I was a clown every Halloween, was a big hit when I was 9 months pregnant in it (in fact I went into labor Nov 1 and had her nov 2 )
when I left my ex, I didnt get any personal items I lost everything
Now I wear my cloak and go as a witch
I'm going as Red Riding Hood, and my greyhound will be the Big Bad Wolf as Grandma.
Look for pictures at my place later this week!
I won't be dressing up this year, but if I were - and I had the figure I had ten years ago - I would be Selene from the Underworld movies. ...and I would suspect I would feel quite empowered in the process! :)
Oh, I love your ideal costume. You would have to celebrate in Vegas or in Memphis, TN. They would love you!
I am dressing up as a Druid Priestess this year. It is gorgeous. I made the robe myself. :o)
You have good imaginations...a druid priestess, Selene, Little Red Riding Hood, a witch, a renaissance costume, Sally, a princess, goth/punk, TNG outfit & showgirl.
I hope those who DO go to a costume party will post pictures on their blog.
I'm trying to find a secret agent costume! ;)
I love this blog. ST:TNG was my fave and Wes Crusher was my big TV crush, for a long, long time!
I'm not dressing up this year. If I were, I'd be a mermaid, and have some hunky guys carry me around while I lay perched upon a big ol' rock. :P
I've always wanted to go to some Halloween party and get dressed up. Unfortunately, this is a holiday thats only celebrated in the US. But IF I were to go to one, I'd like to go as TupTim from the King and I. I love the costumes in that movie.
I have never dressed up for Halloween as an adult. I just don't see the point of paying for a costume that I will wear once! But if I could have one, I would like to be the Good Witch from Wizard of Oz. Her dress is pretty :)
I'm staying home to pass out candy, while the kids' mother takes them out. I'll be dressed in one of my medieval costumes.
I am going to the party as Darth Sidious. I hope the Emperor likes scotch.
I was just shopping with a friend who was getting costumes for her brother's kids...and if I could fit into the costume, I'd probably go as a pirate!
