TWQ: Heatwave Activities

As there is a heatwave going on in Britain right now, TWQ (the Weekend Question) asks you what you do on these occasions.

What do you do when you have a heatwave at home? List as many as you wish.

My answers are:

* Close the curtains

* Stay indoors as much as possible

* Drink cool drinks

* Sweat a lot at the office as the air conditioner there is useless.

As you may have guessed, I don't like hot weather too much when at home.

Now it's over to you...

1. Drink Gin and Tonic.

2. Keep blood pressure down by not listening to the news.

3. Go swimming.

Knit small things like socks

Cool baths always help too

Well I rather like the heat, especially since we only get a few months and it's back to the cold in Chicago:
1. Go to the beach

2. Eat Italian ice

3. Carry a parasol or sun hat to keep the sun from blazing down on me.

4. Go on a boat ride

Hey J-L :-)

I was coming over here anyway, but Bilbo added an extra push!

I hate intense heat as it causes problems with my allergies.

So what do I do......?

I pity my cats - if I'm hot, they must be sweltering in fur coats!

Stay indoors. If I have to be at an event, I wear thin linen and stay in the shade as much as possible.

Drink LOADS....

If it's crazy hot and opening the french doors doesn't help - I push the buttons on the fan.....

I kind of like the heat! My answers would be: go running, take a long bike ride and work in my yard -which is basically the play by play of last weekend.
