TWQ: Vacation Purchases

As this time of year is a peak time for vacations, TWQ (The Weekend Question) is asking about things you may have bought while away.

Which items have you purchased away on vacation did you later regret buying? List as many as you wish.

My answers are:

* Large Italian chess set...never used

* Two paintings on a cruise...never hung

Now it's over to you...

I wasn't on "vacation" but I bought a small Persian rug in Saudi Arabia about 9 years ago that has sat in a box ever since I brought it home.

i don't think i've ever got something i wish i hadn't, it's more the other way around, i was somewhere, saw something, and wished i had bought it but didn't.

I'm always conscious about having my suitcase being overweight (so I have to pay more $$) so am careful about what I bring back.

I wonder what Net Chick regrets?!

we tend not to buy stuff and are inclined to pick up brochures, patches and dirt. of theses I have lots of bags and boxes waiting for one day when I'll sort them out. And one day I will or my kids will toss 'em.

I can't think of anything that I've bought and regretted.

I've bought books and not read yet, it's the fault of there being such a great second hand book shop in Whitby.

Will read them all one day.........
