In the US, the day after Thanksgiving is known as 'Black Friday', one of the heaviest shopping days of the year, and when hunting for Christmas gifts start. TWQ (The Weekend Question) asks about priorities.
When you start shopping for Christmas gifts, where is the first shop you will go to? Will you be able to do most of it in one store? List where you will be heading.
My answers are:
I'll be able to do most of it without leaving the house, as Amazon caters for all my book, CD and DVD BluRay requirements, as well as many other items.
Marks & Spencers are suitable for any clothing and toiletaries.
Now it's over to you...

Like you, I do a lot of my shopping off the internet (I ship things to my office so they're still a surprise on Christmas morning). But I do love bookstores, specialty shops and places that sell outdoor gear. Captain, I'm here from Tanya's this morning and she too says hi.
Hey, NetChick sent me to say Hello.
I've done some Christmas shopping online already and I'm going to Birmingham Christmas shopping on Monday :) Several shops involved!
Like I explained in my last post, I'm quite allergic to malls and big department stores so I never do my shopping in just one place. Overstock online is the first place I look and then I just browse around downtown shops for inspiration.
I've already hit Toys R Us for the most important presents this year, our first Christmas with our Grandson.
I've also got other pressies early whizzing round the local town.
I have got some ordered on line, one being the new Harry Potter DVD, which will be Christmas Day viewing.
I buy for my Mother and my Aunt. A relatively short-list! :D)
Online shopping is really on the increase!
Nikki-Ann, I'm surprised if we don't bump into each other whilst shopping in Birmingham!
It was M & S and John Lewis for me yesterday. My first present was for my 5 month old niece.
I avoid malls like the plague. We do our best to make as many gifts as we can - the grandparents especially appreciate those - but online is increasingly the way to go.
Tanya, who sent me here, would also like the gift of online friendship. I think we can all oblige :)
Great seeing you again, Captain. Thanks, as ever, for giving us an opportunity to think and share. Gotta love this far-flung community of ours.
The first shop - the book store. :) I love to give books.
Next, toy store. Presents for the kids.
Lastly, supermarket for food hampers.
Quite effective info, thanks so much for the post.
