TWQ: TV Vices

This week, TWQ (The Weekend Question) is asking about tv programmes you don't admit to watching.

If you were at an upmarket party, and were asked about what television you saw recently, are there some that you would not admit to viewing?

My answer is:

Probably Wife Swap would be one I wouldn't admit to seeing. Some of the awful families on there make it good viewing!

Now it's over to you...

Wifeswap is ok, I quite like watching that one...

BUT for me, I think I would NOT say I watch the daytime soaps! Something I have become addicted to since being at home for 4 months!!!

I am so glad that netchich is sending me to all these blogs I use to visit...

Captain Sir, I watch literally everything, but the one thing I'm ashamed at myself for watching is The Shopping Channel...it feels like I've reached the end of my wits when I resort to that.

I very rarely watch TV at all but I guess the one thing I'd really be embarrassed to admitting to would be the occasional "magazine" show like Entertainment Tonight or Access Hollywood. Every great once in awhile I'll tune into one and then cringe as I realize what I've done!

I only go to downmarket parties, myself... but hypothetically, I guess I'd say Smallville... not because I'm ashamed (I'm not), but I think that most people would associate that show with a younger crowd.

Oh, it's gotta be (any incarnation of) Star Trek :)

You really are confessing here, although I'd hardly say Smallville or Star Trek is anything to be ashamed of!

Hello Captain. Netchick ordered me to report.

I readily admit to everything I watch. Having a 9 year-old who watches what I watch, and a general disdain for most network TV keeps me mostly content on HGTV and the Food Network. I guess the only thing I can "confess" to watching is sneaking a few interested peeks when my husband watches "Ninja Warrior" and "Ultimate Fighting".

On the rare occasions I do my cardio indoors at the gym, I peek at the Housewives shows -feeling like I'm doing the equivalent of munching a bag of greasy chips.
