TWQ: Childhood Reminders

We often see things that remind us of our childhood. TWQ (The Weekend Question) asks what yours are.

What reminds you of your childhood? List as many as you wish.

My answers are:

Doctor Who
Glam rock groups
School grounds & school friends
Thunderbirds
Old photos

Now it's over to you...

  3. There's an edge between summer afternoon and evening that totally takes me back to ten years old or so. Love it and am looking forward to touching that edge again very soon!

Mrs Walker's toffee apples! - There were dozens of them which she left to cool in her back yard. Home from school I'd race round to peep over her gate & see them glistening in the afternoon sun. Two pennies & one of these enormous amber gems was mine. I saw the same sight on a stall at Atlantic City it took me right back to Mrs Walker's gate.
