TWQ: A Case Of The Mondays

Many of us feel depressed when it is Monday. TWQ (the Weekend Question) asks for things to help get over it.

What can you list to help you get over the Monday Morning Blues?

My answers are:

* Tuesday

* My bed

* A good breakfast

* A broken alarm clock

Now it's over to you....

I don't go to work but Mondays are still blue because Richard does and I start the house work alone hahahaha

So, my answers are:
A surprise public holiday.

The thought of a good dinner at the end of the day.

A day off - I love booking Monday as a day off....a lie in with a nice toast brekkie......

And, of course......the cure-all - chocolate :-)

I'm with Empress Bee, retire. It's nice to hit the golf course when the fees are less and not as many slow golfers in front of you.

A fabulous cup of a coffee beverage.

Work left for Monday not being as bad as perceived on the way to work.

The power going out at work so everyone gets an immediate day off.

Realizing that when you get into the office, it's only 3 hours until 12.

Mondays are always pretty hard. I usally try to ignore them but if that doesn't work, I reward myself at the end of the day with a gooey dessert or good magazine.

Some great ideas that I could use, although I'm not sure what strong Bulgarian coffee would taste like!

Good question! I'd say that for me, getting my week organized and checking a few things off the list advances my attitude in a good way!

The first cup of tea in the morning works wonders for me.

Calling in sick - the first rule of Mondays (at least for one of my co-workers). :-(

Or....you could forget your keys at home so that you're locked out of your workplace. That can shorten your day by an hour or two if your next coworker isn't scheduled to be in for awhile (and has a key).
