TWQ: Scariest Horror Movies

As it's Halloween, many of us will be watching a few scary moves. TWQ (The Weekend Question) is asking which are your favourites.

Which movies did you find really scary and are your favourites in that category? List as many as you wish.

My answers are:

The Mist
Let The Right One In (Swedish vampire movie)
30 Days Of Night
Halloween
The Orphanage
Orphan
Wolf Creek (Australian)

Now it's over to you...

  3. The Others ...... maybe not so much scary as freaky, but the first one that comes to mind. I have been wanting to see the Orphanage, but haven't yet.

NetChick likes scary movies too :)

Girly chick flicks seem very scary to me.

  6. As I haven't seen 'The Exorcist', I can't add it on, but it looks like it's one of the scariest.

  7. I'm such a scaredy cat that I NEVER watch scary movies these days. When I was younger, I'd try to brave it but as I age....I just feel its not worth it.

So, the last scary movie I watched...that stayed with me for a long long time, was House 5 (?). I can't remember the number but it wasn't the first couple because they were funny.

  11. I am a complete wimp on these and won't watch them. My imagination is way too good and I end up with nightmares.

  12. Let me just say that I have avoided scary films. However I do have Steve McQueen's "The Blob" on my list here at home to watch! :)
